Amery Rail awarded Harrow Weald DC Sub Station Project – Groundworks Package
AMCO has awarded the Groundworks Package to Amery Rail to execute the following activities:
- Provision of various mechanical excavators to reduce levels for new base slabs
- Site clearance and muck away
- Assistance to screw fast pile installation
- Construction of new HV and DC module RC Slabs
- Installation of new service ducts
- Installation of new troughs
- Construction of new RC columns to support new modules
- Construction of new safe routes / stairways
- Construction of new brick walls
The above works commenced in March 2011 and are being executed adjacent to the west coast main line.
