Amery Rail awarded Colchester Station Groundworks Contract.
C Spencer Ltd has awarded a Groundworks contract to Amery Rail to execute the following works:
Platform excavation and installation of new RC Pads for new Steel Canopy
- New Platform Drainage system installation
- Platform Surface Reinstatement activities
- Booking Hall Demolition and new concrete floor construction
- Station Car Park remodeling, including new kerbs, drainage and paving
- Works commenced in March 2011 and are to be executed in a safety critical environment with a high passenger interface
- These works are part of the Network Rail National Station Improvement Plan
